I have been listening
since I was small.

They call me Lady Godiva. To those who find their way to my door, I am the Manitou Medium — a practicing psychic, medium and reiki master rooted in the red rock and pine of Manitou Springs, Colorado.

I was born with the gift of a seer. My first encounter was around the age of three — seeing both Jesus and angelic beings. Encounters between the veil came like a steady stream.

My great-grandmother passed away and I woke up to her standing at my bedside.

My maternal grandmother was given six months to live. I laid hands on her at age eight and she fully recovered. That was only the beginning. Since those early days I have devoted my life to my calling and gifts. My background is ministerial — I spent many years as a biblical counselor and life coach, and I now offer spiritual-based counseling and alternative healing modalities.

Today I keep a small private practice. I read for those who need a word, I sit with those who need silence, and I lay hands on those whose own batteries have run flat. I work in the lineage of Usui reiki and the older folk traditions of the American West.

My roots reach further north as well. I carry the old Norse current of Seiðr — the seer-craft of sitting upon the high seat and listening for what wishes to be spoken — and a shamanic heritage as a Völva, a staff-bearing seer of the Scandinavian lineage. These threads run quietly beneath everything I do.
